The Conner & Winters law firm has set up shop in the Esperson buildings, a historic downtown property under-going a modernization from top to bottom.“The history, elegance and charm of the Niels Esperson building make this very attractive in contrast to the new glass, concrete and steel structures that appear cold and sterile,” Douglas Selwyn, a partner at Conner & Winters, said in an announcement.

SERENDIPITY LABS COMING SOON TO ESPERSON
Houston-based Cameron Management Inc. is the exclusive franchisee for a new-to-Texas co-working company, but Cameron’s plans run much deeper than opening co-working labs around Houston.
Cameron will open 10 locations for Serendipity Labs, a New York-based company that offers upscale workspaces designed for the 30- to 55-year-old worker who’s seeking more of a luxury, amenities-focused workspace, its founder and CEO John Arenas, said. Serendipity’s first Houston-area co-working space will open in Cameron Management’s Esperson Building at 808 Travis St. in downtown, and Cameron plans to open nine other locations throughout Houston in areas such as downtown, Sugar Land, The Woodlands, the Galleria, Greenway Plaza, the Energy Corridor and more, Cameron’s founder and CEO Dougal Cameron, said.
